PRE-ARRANGEMENTS


I have run across a few folks now, who, through conversation with me concerning their funeral pre-arrangements, have asked what happens if they move away to another city in Ontario.


Funeral pre-arrangements are transferable in the Province of Ontario for whatever reason you have, from one funeral home to another. Although it is not required that the new funeral home abide by the prices in the contract of the home from which the contract was transferred. It would, however, be in the best interest of the new funeral home to do so, as they wouldn’t want to upset the person making the transfer, (at least, we wouldn’t).
