ANTHONY BRYAN DAMMS

APRIL 14, 1942 – February 9, 2024


Anthony Bryan Damms passed away peacefully at Lisaard House, in Cambridge, ON. on February 9, 2024, with his loved ones at his side.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carole, daughters Janette Kingsbury (Steve), Rosemary Damms, grandsons Evan, Max, and Tony, and sister Karen Birkett (Dennis).


Born in Sheffield, England on April 14, 1942, he discovered an early passion for hiking in the hills of nearby Derbyshire. Later, in Canada, he found the same passion in the beauty of Georgian Bay and spent many summers sailing the waters with friends and family including his long-time best friend, Tony Bashford.


Bryan and Carole met during their college days in England and after marrying, they embarked on the adventure of a lifetime, emigrating to Canada by ship in 1967. Bryan had a very successful career as a talented and respected computer engineer.


He is fondly remembered for his kind demeanor, and quiet sense of humour.


Friends and family will be invited to join in a celebration of life to honour Bryan at a later date.
